A Letter from Dr. Songzanlin

TASHIBLOOM Advisor / Tibetan Herbalist & Ethnobotanist

Hello, my name is Dr. Songzanlin, and I’m a botanist and traditional Tibetan medicine practitioner raised in a Tibetan monastic college. For decades, I’ve traveled across the Tibetan plateau, using local herbs to support the health of people — and their animals, from yaks and sheep to dogs and cats.

I’m honored to serve as a professional advisor for TASHIBLOOM. I’ve been a close friend of the TASHI family for many years, and we share the same belief:

Nature is the gentlest protector. Animals are part of our family.

🌿 Why This Incense Is Safe for Pets and Families

TASHIBLOOM’s incense coils are made using 100% plant-based materials. We do not use essential oils, synthetic fragrances, or chemical adhesives.

The ingredients are:

Whole herbs harvested from the Tibetan highlands

Naturally sun-dried

Stone-ground using glacial mountain water

Bound with a small amount of nanmu wood powder, a sacred aromatic wood traditionally used in Tibetan temples

Each incense coil is handcrafted by local artisans.

No artificial fragrances.
No preservatives.
No industrial binders.
Just whole plants — nothing else.

We’ve tested our incense for air quality and combustion safety. The coils burn smoothly and gently, producing low, non-irritating smoke that’s safe even for sensitive pets like cats, dogs, and birds.

🌬️ Why It Works

The ingredients and method behind this incense are based on generations of everyday Tibetan life. We don’t try to overpower nature — we work in harmony with it.

The herbs in our formula naturally repel fleas, flies, and parasites. They also refresh the air and help calm pets and people.

Each plant plays a unique role:

Mugwort – used to purify space and discourage insects

Sandalwood – helps neutralize odors and promote air balance

Wild lavender leaves – bring emotional comfort and relaxation

Nanmu wood powder – acts as a natural binder and adds a soft woodsy scent

When burned, the incense:

Makes the air less inviting to bugs — they avoid it

Neutralizes unpleasant pet odors (like litter and fur)

Creates a peaceful environment that helps anxious or overactive pets relax

This is more than a fragrance — it’s a gentle herbal tradition from the mountains, brought into your home.

🕊️ Why You Can Trust It

I’ve worked with these herbs for years — treating both people and animals. I know how they smell, how they behave, and how they affect sensitive systems.

And I can say with confidence:

This is something I use in my own home, around my own animals.
